Program Description: Koa’s Rookie League is an open-registration t-ball league for boys and girls in K-1st grades.  Teams will have approximately 13 players to provide fair and equal playing time, while ensuring enough players for a successful game.  The season is 6 weeks long (with a rain-out date) with 75-minute sessions on Sundays (20 mins-practice/55 mins-game).  There are no travel requirements. Players can choose from 2 coaching options outlined below. Please note, if the option you select is under-enrolled, you will be given the opportunity to switch to a different coaching option for the season. Players will need a glove, baseball pants (gray preferred) and cleats or sneakers are ok. Bring plenty of water each week!

Option 1 Р100% Parent Coached: Teams pay a fee to participate in the Rookie League (includes equipment, uniforms, and game day fields) and the team handles everything else including coaching for all games and pre-game practice/warmup sessions. Teams are 100% parent coached. Koa will provide practice and warmup plans.  Placement on a parent-coached team will be based on availability and pre-formed teams are highly encouraged.
Cost $125/player.

Option 2 РParent/Koa Coached: Teams pay to participate in the Rookie League and Koa’s professional coaches handle the pre-game warmup/practice session and coach the team during the game. Teams pay a fee to participate in the Rookie League which includes equipment, uniforms, and game day fields. Players will need to have a “personal trainer” (parent, friend, older sibling etc. ) to help with the pre-game practice session. This way kids don’t stand in boring lines for skill work.
